3 Proven Carpal Tunnel Relief Tips

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome can be incredibly painful and debilitating…

…and if you believe you are suffering from CTS, it’s important that you seek professional medical advice.

In the meantime, while you wait for your doctor’s appointment, you might benefit from some home based carpal tunnel treatments you can do for yourself, in addition to wearing a wrist brace.  I’ve used all of these in conjunction with my doctor’s guidance and advice and I’m having great results.

Try These Simple Home Remedies to Relieve Yourself of Your Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Pain

Cold Compress RemedyCarpal tunnel relief

Ice your wrist and hand for 5 to 15 minutes two or three times a day.  I recommend using a bag of frozen peas because the peas conform to the shape of your wrist.  This can help reduce swelling and inflammation.

Castor Oil Remedy

  1. Warm castor oil and rub on your hand and wrist.
  2. Massage hand and wrist for 15 minutes.
  3. Wrap hand with a breathable cloth like cheesecloth or wool & cover in plastic wrap.
  4. Leave on for 15-30 minutes and then remove plastic wrap and cloth and wash your hands.

Castor oil is comprised of  an unsaturated fatty acid, called ricinoleic acid which has many healing abilities, including supporting the lymphatic system and increasing circulation.

When you wrap your wrist with castor oil on it, the circulation and natural lymph drainage in the area will increase, causing relief. carpal tunnel relief castor oil(This castor oil is excellent! ==> Click here to check it out.)

Self Acupressure Remedy

I was amazed at how quickly my carpal tunnel pain was relieved when I did these acupressure treatments on my wrist and forearm.

  1. First, press with your finger at the crease in your wrist, in between the tendons at what is called pericardium 7 (PC 7), and move your finger in a counterclockwise motion.  You might feel a little tingling when you do this. carpal tunnel pain relief
  2. Next, press with your finger in between the tendons about 2 finger widths distance up your forearm on the point which is called pericardium 6 (PC 6) and again move in a counterclockwise motion.carpal tunnel pain relief
  3. Finally, turn your hand over and measure from the crease on your wrist at the base of the back of your hand about four finger widths distance, and press that area in and move with a circular motion.carpal tunnel pain relief

You hold each position for about 30 seconds and then move onto the next position.

I truly hope these home remedies will provide you with as much relief as they gave me.
